Charlie Daboub is a Production Designer with a strong background in film/tv art departments. After graduating from The University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture he moved to Los Angeles and started his career at Paramount in 1991 as a set designer for StarTrek: T.N.G. Charlie continued to work up the art department ladder as set designer, assistant art director, art director and now production designer. He has worked on such notable projects as SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE, GET SHORTY, BATMAN AND ROBIN, ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS, HOP, WILD HOGS, BALLERS, EMPIRE, MACGYVER, SPENCER CONFIDENTIAL, BAD BOYS FOR LIFE, THE FIRST WIVES CLUB and recently as production designer of the CW’s TOM SWIFT .
Charlie brings over 25 years of film experience designing, constructing and managing all aspects of the art department. His work ranges from sci-fi to westerns, family to serious action, independent to big budget tent-pole action films. Charlie has worked in Europe, Hawaii, Mexico as well as Louisiana, New Mexico, Florida, California and Atlanta Georgia.
